The sheep, the geese and the cows

This is not a bad rip off of the chronicles of narnia, more a combination of a few different nature shoots I've been on recently, showing the silly behaviours of three species in particular.

The Allotment

This is a mini project, centered around the Holmcroft Allotment Association. Created to show off the scenic area, I explore some of the smaller details and wildlife.

The Roses

Arguably, one of natures most beautiful flowers. I explore the life of the rose, watching as it starts to bloom and as it falls apart.

Website photography

Here is a project where I helped out a local Therapist, photographing her office and details around it for her website.

Portraits

Throughout my college career I took many portraits, both in a studio and non-studio environment and these are some of the best

Macro Flowers

Yeah, I like photographing flowers. This project explores the beauty in the living, dead and dying aspects of flowers.

Experimental work

This is a collection of my abstract, experimental and artistic photography

Fluff and Feather

I worked with a small felting business to redesign their logo, create business cards and product photography to showcase their products on social media.

Blurred lines

This project was for an exhibition in my college. Using black and white film, and my trusted pansonic lumix digital camera I created a double sided Concertina book that explores escapism, dissassociation and the lines between

Paper camera- tests

A cool little camera, the paper camera has the capacity to take some incredible pictures. Explore through my experimentations with this tiny little, cardboard camera.

Nature & Wildlife

Throughout lockdown I started going on nature walks and taking pictures. I had actually been doing this on and off for awhile but during and after lockdown I went more and more. I found some incredible details hidden away, and some cool little creatures.

(No) Public Access

I created a photobook exploring the park near me after its new renovations, and made some commentary on how commercialised it had become.

Untitled

A small psudo-studio project, I never named it at the time and I think it should remain that way.

Panoramic Sunsets

A small passion project, I have always loved sunsets, and these panoramics show off their dramatic nature.

This is a mini project, centered around the Holmcroft Allotment Association. Created to show off the scenic area, I explore some of the smaller details and wildlife.

The Roses

Arguably, one of natures most beautiful flowers. I explore the brief life of the rose, watching as they start to bloom and as they fall apart over the span of five days.

Untitled

A small psudo-studio project, it will remain unnamed because at the time i was too tired to name it, and then one time i tried to and I've decided it wasn't right. Take from it what you will.

Macro Flowers

Yeah, I really like photographing flowers, a little basic right?. This project explores the beauty in both the living and the death of a variety of flowers.

(They also make fantastic desktop pictures)

Experimental

This is a collection of my abstract, experimental and more artistic photography, using both physical and digital means of distortion and editing.

Website Photography

Here is a project where I helped out a local Therapist, photographing her office and details around it for her website, trying to capture an aesthetic of calm, focusing on low lights with brighter lamps.

Blurred Lines- Black&white

This project was for an exhibition in my college. Using black and white film, and my trusted pansonic lumix digital camera I created a double sided Concertina book that explores escapism, dissassociation and the lines between

Unfortunatey I could only add this project in 1/5ths, so it may be a little out of order, however with this piece I wouldn't say it really takes away from the meaning, if anything one could agrue there doesnt need to be an order to the images at all.

Blurred lines- Colour

Once again, it might be a little out of order, but this side of what was the concertina book is exploring dreams, escapism and the lines in between.

I used my lumix pansonic camera and a lot of photoshop, along with a few see through tubs of dyed water, and old purple gin bottles that were donated to me.

Are you ready to meet...

The Paper Camera!

A fun, simple digital camera (not sponsered, I just think it's super cool) that can take incredibly detailed, vibrant images in a second.

Paper camera-  test pieces

Panoramic sunsets

A small passion project, I have always loved sunsets, and these panoramics show off their dramatic nature.

In some of the last ones there's a few artefacts in the sky- I had to use photoshop to stitch 3 or 4 pictures together to make these panoramics and they were the ones I did first.
